The Snuggle Puppy markets itself as an anxiety solution for dog. From our review of the product, it is so much more.
Providing pets with a tangible real life feel, the Snuggle Puppy is equipped with a pulsing heartbeat as well as disposable warmer packs. The Snuggle Puppy also has the option to come in different dog types to mimic the physical attributes of several breeds, including Labradors, Golden Retrievers, and other breeds.
We found this toy to be great for pet loneliness, crate training, and general pet-and-owner separation anxiety management.
Wicked Ball PE by Cheerble
A playtime focused smart ball, the Wicked Ball PE is designed to keep medium and large breed dogs entertained through technology enabled random movements.
It is designed with three interaction modes of play to encourage mental and physical stimulation of your dog, such as active rolling and bouncing (normal), bouncing on contact (passive), and slow rolling (gentle). The Wicked Ball PE is also quieter than its predecessor, the original Wicked Ball, making indoor play that much more possible.
We were impressed by how engaged dog were when we tested this toy and recommend the Wicked Ball PE.
Bacon Wishbone by Benebone
While decidedly low tech as compared to the other products we reviewed, the Bacon Flavored Wishbone by Benebone remains a dog chew favorite.
The simple, yet unique design concept behind the Bacon Wishbone is the idea that the ‘two legs’ of the chew allow dogs easier maneuverability of the Wishbone than traditional straight bone chews. Where humans have thumbs to hold and stabilize objects, dogs usually struggle to hold bones with the same level of stability. The angular v-shape of the Bacon Wishbone provides such additional stability for dogs.
This design has stood the test of time and comes in multiple sizes – from tiny to giant – based on your dog’s preference. We think that this wishbone chew will continue to delight dogs well into the future.
